This mountaineering boot is choc-a-bloc with technical details, including an integrated gaiter beyond the shaft of the boot, giving it a comfortable, sock-like fit. This guarantees not only warm feet, but also an incomparable fit. There is a ribbed structure under the laces made of polyurethane which evenly distributes the pressure of the laces over the entire foot while tying the shoe. The Y-shaped lacing system on the shaft provides not only the perfect fit in the ankle area, but also allows easier tying and securing of the laces.The outer material of the Rebel Ultra GTX is made of a blend of the three sturdy, waterproof and breathable materials Kevlar, Cordura and nylon. The inside of the shoe contains the insulating version of the GORE-TEX membrane which is particularly suited to cold environments. It is extremely breathable, waterproof and windproof and therefore provides a lasting and comfortable climate for your feet. The sole of the mountaineering boot is fully crampon compatible. Additionally, the inner sole is made of carbon which is not only ultra-light, but also very sturdy. This keeps the weight of the shoe to a minimum.
