the 22/23 version of K2's Recon 120 remains at the very front of a new wave of advanced ski boots that offer lightness, fit and performance in equal measures. Previously lighter boots could suffer a noticeable loss of control and precision, and advanced and expert boots would feel heavy. This is not the case anymore thanks to the Powerlite Shell. 4 different stiffnesses of TPU and optimal wall thickness come together to provide the lowest possible weight and the best performance. To ensure comfort, both the shell and the liner can be custom moulded to the skier's feet for the best fit.

Powerfuse Spyne
A rear co-injected ‘Y' shaped support that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock in order to maximize fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for responsiveness in every type of terrain.

Energy InterlockA rivet-free technology that integrates the cuff and shell, putting less stress on the boot's material and produces a smoother, progressive flex.

Fast Fit Entry
Softer TPU designed into the instep area of Powerlite shell for quick and easy entry and exit.

Navicular Punch
A strategic bump is built into the boot mould to alleviate pressure commonly experienced during ankle flexion.

Power Wedge
A removable spoiler for an adjustable forward lean angle, ranging from 12° to 14°.
